Queen's Wharf Brisbane sur 17 mai 2026 à 8h38

A Queensland government spokesperson says the deal is subject
to government approval. The company has told investors it
has made a deal with its Hong Kong partners, surrendering its share in Queens Wharf.
Queen’s Wharf Brisbane will transform the CBD with
four future luxury hotels, more than 50 new bars and restaurants, luxury
retail, up to 2,000 residential apartments and more
than 12 football fields of public space including stunning artworks and restored heritage
buildings. The injection of the green spaces represents
another significant milestone in the development in the
delivery of the public space that a projected 1.4 million visitors to Queen’s Wharf each year
will enjoy. « In 2023 we have seen so many elements of the development come to life- the iconic Sky deck, heritage buildings being restored, Miller Park upgraded, the Finger Wharves completed and 7.5 hectares of green spaces for everyone to enjoy, just to name a few. » The only integrated
resort development currently being built in the world – with four tower structures filling the skyline, the iconic Sky Deck, a raft of new dining and retail
options, restoration of heritage buildings plus thousands of plants and
hundreds of trees to feature in a major landscaping project.

The Sky Deck is located on Level 23 at Queens Wharf, which can be found at 33 William Street, Brisbane.
The kids enjoy standing on the glass floor, peering down to
the cars driving below. While some parts of the Sky Deck are afforded shade, the majority of it is exposed to the elements,
and as such appropriate sun protection should be employed when visiting.

It had been planned for years, with the people
of Brisbane needing to regularly get to Kangaroo Point across the Brisbane River.
Bundaberg’s famous rum distillery is so renowned you could
almost forget it’s owned by the British.
Brothers Michael and Cal spent more than $100m on construction before opening
in 2018. The Calile Hotel is one of Brisbane’s newest landmarks, but it’s
already been named one of the best hotels in the world.
« Public spaces will be among the first areas to be opened and that includes the viewing platform on Sky Deck, Miller Park, and of course the Neville Bonner Bridge linking Queen’s Wharf to South Bank, »
he said. « The Treasury Brisbane will close at a time before The Star Brisbane opens, with that date yet to be announced, » a Star spokeswoman said.

Star also flagged that it is unlikely to finalise a deal to sell its share of Brisbane’s Queen’s Wharf casino to its consortium partners – Hong Kong-based Chow Tai Fook Enterprises and
Far East Consortium – by the July 31 deadline.
Embattled casino operator Star Entertainment is facing the potential
collapse of the deal to offload its troubled Queen’s Wharf precinct in Brisbane to
its Asian partners a day before the deadline. Destination Brisbane Consortium is delivering an iconic development in Brisbane
as the city moves to a new future. In 2012, the state government announced plans
to redevelop the 9ha of riverfront area, offering the project
to willing corporations from the private sector. Today, the majority share in BAC is owned
by QIC Infrastructure Management, while Igneo Infrastructure Partners, IFM Investors, Royal Schiphol Group and
Spirit Super also have significant stakes. Hundreds of millions of dollars
went into its eight-year construction, finally opening in 1988.

Artist John Swadling’s painting, Isaac St. Spring Hill – A Brisbane Echo, is
one of the finalists in the inaugural Queen’s Wharf Brisbane Art Prize.

Over more than a decade, RLB collaborated closely with our
visionary client, construction partner Multiplex, architect Cottee Parker and other stakeholders to navigate challenges
from inclement weather to supply chain impacts.

The Sky Deck is an engineering marvel, with 500 tonnes of suspended steel that soars 100 metres over William Street and spans four towers like a ship in the sky.
RLB arguably boasts the world’s largest construction cost
database, but gathering data is only part of the equation. These
systems carefully tailored to suit the scale and complexity of the project, support safe and
efficient access for maintenance personnel across all areas of the towers.
Karabiner is proud to have delivered the complete design, engineering, and
installation of bespoke façade access and height safety systems for
the Queen’s Wharf Brisbane development.

The deal still needs to pass regulatory hurdles before it’s
finalised. A Queensland government spokesperson said the deal between Star and its joint venture partners —
Chow Tai Fook Enterprises (CTFE) and Far East Consortium — was not yet finalised.
This week, that was walked back, with Star announcing a new deal had finally been signed.
That announcement marked the beginning of a turbulent five months,
during which those same partners announced they would terminate the agreement.

Seeing a person’s growth and change since they affirmed has been remarkable and is the perfect story of
how allowing people to be their authentic selves really does create a positive impact.
Perched 37 metres above street level, a 12,000sqm
open-air Leisure Deck delivers an impressive mixed-use space for
hotel guests and the public to enjoy. We’ll keep you posted when we know
more about what’s coming to the precinct, but you can also stay up to
date and get all the latest construction news on The Star Brisbane website.
Dishing up elevated Italian fare, the 160-seater space will feature
a mix of indoor and outdoor dining spaces, where you can enjoy a negroni over a woodfired pizza or homemade
pasta, and flag down a dessert trolley for a sweet finish to your meal.
Executive Chef Jake Nicolson is curating a menu of feeds that includes kampot peppered beef with
betel leaf and lemongrass and Vietnamese-style baby goat yellow curry,
while cocktails will be Asian-inspired and come with a side of
theatrics. The champagne bar and restaurant will dish up modern interpretations of traditional French dishes in a
stunning, Parisian-inspired space complete with a leafy alfresco area and three private dining rooms.

Each apartment features modern kitchen, living, dining,
and laundry spaces for unparalleled convenience.
Guests seeking relaxation will enjoy our premium amenities at our Queen’s Wharf Apartments in Brisbane CBD.
The Star Entertainment Group announced on 5 April 2016 share sale
facilities that provided eligible small shareholders the opportunity to sell their
shares without incurring any brokerage or handling costs. Alarming laws and legislation have been passed in other countries that can significantly impact people’s
lives. Being able to co-lead a group of passionate and driven people is an absolute pleasure, and they are what fuelled me to
keep going, even when it did get a little tough.
